The wall sculptures are made of rebar used in construction. Each work refers to the layout of the first page and last page of The Houston Chronicle where I take the layout of the newspaper, empty out the content and highlight the plan. In the same way rebar holds a building up, the layout of a newspaper houses the content. Both rebar and layouts are invisible borders that highly structure and produce limits to the use of space.
